Monitoring and Evaluating Engine Performance Danica's team are world-leading experts at providing vessel operators with the latest high-quality equipment that meet their engine performance monitoring needs. Danica helps operators select the appropriate equipment, assists with installation on board and trains staff how to use the monitoring equipment effectively, including how to interpret engine data.

Danica goes one step further and offers both ongoing and ad hoc rule-based predictive data analysis by our professional marine diesel engine experts. Based on data on key engine parameters obtained from onboard monitoring equipment, we provide diesel engine performance evaluation reports that include our expert observations, analysis and recommendations for improving engine performance.

Our online Engine Performance Forms allows our clients to easily submit their monthly/weekly engine performance data. Data are monitored and cross-referenced with previous observations as well as normal statistics for rule-based alarm notification.

Performance observation data input by clients is also used to analyze performance data across multiple client sets, allowing us to provide our clients with predictive failure maintenance indicators, as well as fuel and equipment efficiency optimization strategies.

Virtual Engineer Online Support

Now vessel operators can have expert marine diesel engine advice at there fingertips via Danica's Virtual Engineer and ship-shore video conferencing. Danica's call center is equipped with the latest communication equipment including video conference facilities, a performance database with multi-user function. Our plan is to eventually open three call centers across the globe so that we can provide our customers with 24/7 one-on-one service and technical support. Specialized measuring equipment is needed for monitoring and backup of the diesel engine data. Danica Diesel leases the required equipment package to its clients; payment for leasing is included in a monthly fee paid by operators to be connected to Danica's call centre.

Emergency Support

Danica's image submission web tools allow us to provide real-time support to vessels in need, regardless of their position on the water. Our image and video submission interface allows our engineers to access live image data from the vessel. Integrated chat functionality enables two-way communication in noisy engine room environments.
